FILLEANN AN FEALL ( SHORT )
A FLUSH FILMS LTD PRODUCTION
DIRECTOR: FRANKIE MC CAFFERTY
PRODUCTION DESIGNER: DARA MC GEE
MY ROLE: STANDBY PROPS
Filleann an Feall is short for the Irish language saying: Filleann an feall ar an bhFeallaire - What goes around, comes around or Treachery rebounds on the Treacherous (or the Traitor). Two small time Dublin criminals, Don Wycherley and Cillian Murphy, travel to Connemara to do a deal on Poteen. They practice speaking in Irish, the language of the Poteen seller, as they go along. Don Wycherley's character is better at Irish, and corrects the Cillian Murphy character every so often. They stop for a picnic, lose their car keys, get hospitality from an old lady living in a camper van. Cillian helps her out by taking down the winning lottery numbers as they're called out on the television, and by matching them to her numbers ...

I worked closely with the Production Designer and Cinematograher on dressing the sets and took charge of hand props and set dressing as standby props.
